COUPLE CLOSE-UP: Tiffany & Ryan
Ryan and Tiffany first visited Beech Hill Barn in the middle of February while the Modern Barnhouse and Beechwood Suite were under construction. They chose a mid-June wedding date and we are excited to see their vision come to life. Thank you for trusting our vision!
Along with our couple close-ups.... we love to share a little closeup of the property!
Please tell us about the proposal!
We had a weekend away planned where we rented an Airbnb with our two dogs in Rumney, NH to celebrate Ryan’s birthday. While Tiffany planned a surprise agenda for Ryan's birthday, little did she know that Saturday after hiking to the peak of Rattlesnake Mountain in the snow, Ryan would propose on top of the mountain with both of our dogs there too. Oakley immediately started barking with excitement! Tiffany said yes and we enjoyed the view from the top of the mountain for a few minutes before carefully tucking the ring away and hiking back down the snowy trail. That night, we canceled our dinner reservation and instead enjoyed a cozy night in together and Facetimed our families!
Why did you choose Beech Hill Barn?
We both have ties to Maine, Ryan grew up spending summers on a lake in Litchfield and Tiffany went to Bates College in Lewiston. After deciding we wanted to get married in Maine, we started looking for a venue that had both a fun and elevated elegant vibe to it. Beech Hill Barn was the perfect mix and also allowed us to spend more of the wedding weekend with our families (who we are both very close with) due to the Farmhouse and Modern Barnhouse locations on site. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding there in under a month!
What do you picture for your wedding day and who are some of the vendors you have selected to help bring your vision to life?
We are picturing an elegant, romantic, but lighthearted day filled with excitement and joy and all of our most important people around us to help celebrate. Our goal is for our guests to experience a mix of both Chinese and American styles and traditions and dance the night away with plenty of food, music, and cocktails. A few of our vendors are: French Picnic (Catering & Bar), Meadowsweet Bakery Kitchen (Dessert), Champagne Casanova (Band), Berry & Berry Floral (Florist).
